How to Use the Mermade Double Waver Max:
Step 1.
Make sure your hair is clean, completely dry and tangle-free before styling. Place the waver on a heat-resistant surface and plug it in. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the device lights up. Adjust the temperature by tapping the button until you reach your preferred heat level. For healthier styling, we recommend using the 180°C setting.
Step 2.
Prep is the secret to long-lasting, lush waves. Apply a heat protectant and contour spray—such as Mermade Mist—to shield your strands and boost hold.
Step 3.
Section your hair using the included Grip Clips. Smaller sections create more defined, uniform waves. Working one section at a time, position the waver near the roots and clamp the hair evenly between the barrels (avoid touching the scalp). Hold for 2 seconds. Release, then re-clamp by lining up the top barrel with the previous wave bend to create seamless waves from roots to ends. Repeat across the entire head.
Step 4.
Allow your waves to cool completely before touching or styling—this sets the shape. For soft, beachy texture, gently brush through with a Mermade Brush or wide-tooth comb. Finish with Mermade Mist for shine and hold, or use a flexible or lacquer hairspray depending on your desired finish.
Step 5.
To turn off, press and hold the power button until the light switches off. The waver features a 60-minute auto shut-off for safety. Allow the tool to cool completely before storing, and wipe down after each use to prevent product build-up.
